“Once a criminal, always a criminal”

Condemning this myth, Sophia Girls’ School believes that every prisoner has an ardent love and desire and a right to change and lead a normal life like any other citizen. We also believe that our school being a part of the society has its responsibility towards these prisoners.

Our school aims to extend love and concern to the brethren behind the bars. Various cultural activities like folk dance, moral plays and motivational songs on Rep-ublic day, Independence day and Christmas celebrations are conducted in the prison by the students of the Primary Section. 

The aim of our school is to help the prisoners to spend their days in prison peacefully and profitably preparing them to become productive members of the society.
